Sundance man killed in vehicle crash

Sundance resident Thomas E. Pickerd was the victim of a fatal vehicle crash on I-90 last week. The accident occurred on October 3 around milepost 201.

Around 3 p.m., Wyoming Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched to the area for a one-vehicle rollover.  A 1995 Ford Ranger was traveling eastbound on Interstate 90; for unknown reasons, the Ford exited the left side of the roadway before being over-corrected to the right and overturning.

The driver of the Ford was identified as Pickerd, a 60-year-old Sundance resident.  Pickerd was not wearing his seatbelt and succumbed to his injuries at t...
