Bulldogs run at Custer

The Bulldog runners traveled to Custer this past weekend to compete in the Custer Invite. Leading the way for the Bulldog Varsity boys was Hunter Skeens, placing eighth among 54 runners with a time of 19:51. Not far behind was Jaydon Davis, coming in 19th with a time of 20:29, followed by Kort McLaughlin, placing 50th with a time of 25:05.

Tori Wheeler was the first across the line for the Varsity Lady Bulldog runners, placing 11th with a time of 25:08, followed by Darcy Flahaven who finished 22nd with a time of 30:06.

The junior high racers continued to see large numbers in their races as the boys competed against 153 runners. Leading the junior high Bulldog pack was Angel Villegas with a time of 14:24, followed by Kyten Johnston at 15:12, Jager McLaughlin finishing at 16:40 and Wyatt Flahaven crossing the line at 17:43.

The junior high girls continue to stay a tight bunch. Rylie Marchant paced the Bulldog pack coming in with a time of 13:50 followed closely by Britt Wheeler at 13:53, Jordan Maout at 14:57 and Riley Banker finishing in 15:37.

The Sundance Cross Country team will travel to Rapid City for their next race on Friday, September 27.
