Back in the swing

The playgrounds of Crook County are once again filled with laughter and young voices as the 2019 school year gets underway. The school year started early this year, according to Superintendent Mark Broderson, because almost every holiday falls in the middle of the week – both Christmas and New Year are on a Wednesday and “you can’t have school on Monday and not the rest of the week”. He assures parents that, next year, the schedule will again commence on the third week of August.
