Crook county people and particularly those of this section of the Black and Yellow Trail will be glad to note the prospect for early construction on the Sundance-Beulah unit as a state highway. Specifications and call for bids are published in the Times today and have been given wide publicity elsewhere. The estimated cost of the Sundance-Beulah project is given as $169,500, a great sum for the purpose it appears, made to cover safely all unforeseen adverse conditions, and probably exceeding actual cost.
