Oscar Erickson was quite seriously injured by a horse at the Sewell ranch on Mason creek one day last week. He was trying out his new saddle, which turned and gave him a fall and the resultant mix-up will keep him pretty well confined for some days.

As evidence of the kind of cattle Crook County can produce it is pleasing to hear the report that A.H. Hewes, one of the county’s fullblood Hereford breeders, recently sold a young cow for $2000 and another for $1000 to a Pierre, S.D. man.
