Cold soles

It may have been frosty and slick on Sunday morning, but that didn't stop more than 60 runners and 30 walkers from joining in the fun of the year's chilliest race. Freeze Your Fanny is an annual benefit for the Sundance High School cross country team held on Superbowl Sunday.

The first place runner this year was Josh Speidel with a time of 27:19, followed by Chris Riley with 27:20.

In the zero to 19 age category, the top two runners were Tayleigh Adrian and Lane Jay. Aged 20 to 29, the top two placers were Caley Buckert and Jessie Fahlgren and the 30 to 39 category was topped by Chris Riley and Ryan Talamadge.

Aged 40 to 49, the two top placers were Josh Speidel and Jeremy Elson. In the 50 to 59 category, Paul Bosworth and Gene Griffin came top and in the 60 plus category, the top two placers were Sunny Rubbiks and Tim Shay.

The oldest participant this year was Norma Peterson and the youngest was Kohlee Shoun.
