Bearlodge/Sundance FFA

On Tuesday, November 20 members of the Bearlodge/Sundance FFA Chapter traveled to Hulett High School and, along with members from the Devils Tower and Whitcomb Chapters, participated in hands- on learning activities in the Hulett High School Barn and Ag Ed Shop.

Dr. Chandy Olson, a veterinarian from Belle Fourche, was on hand to teach ultrasound techniques on sheep. Each student was given an opportunity to ultrasound a ewe and interpret the results.

Students were also able to share welding techniques with each other in the shop. Sundance students finished the day by taking a tour of the Neiman Sawmill.

The Bearlodge FFA Chapter appreciates the Devils Tower FFA and Mr. Jim Pannel for hosting us, Dr. Olson for the learning experience and Neiman Enterprises and Mr. Joe Ortner for the very educational and enjoyable tour of the sawmill.
