The beginning of the year will bring two notable changes to the process of titling a vehicle. It will now be possible to set up the paperwork for joint ownership such that only one signature is needed to transfer that title on; it will also become legal to ask someone else to help you handle your paperwork. The Forest Service District Office in Sundance once again welcomed a young team of interior decorators to brighten their halls for the festive season this year. On Monday, both fourth grade classrooms decorated pine cones. The Black Hills has experienced one of the snowiest seasons on record, with several places marking new entries on their top ten lists. While Crook County did not tip over any of its own historic totals, other parts of the hills broke their all-time highs and Sundance got to mark some new entries in its record books. In late December, the Powder River Energy capital credit retirement “refund” will be processed. This process returns a portion of the money members paid for electric usage during chosen years. Some Powder River Energy members will receive a credit on their bill or a check in the mail as a result. Man accused of stealing from ATMs faces federal charges CODY (WNE) — A Brazilian man is now facing federal criminal charges for allegedly stealing nearly $8000 from Park County ATM machines in recent weeks. Allisson Bebiano, 29, is facing three felony charges in federal courts after he was initially charged on 17 different counts in Park County. A Beulah woman has received a suspended sentence for possession with intent to deliver following an incident in which the death of a man in her residence raised suspicions. A search warrant was issued in May, 2017 for the residence of Glenys Thomas.
