Santa arrived on Friday in a dazzle of lights and music. Waving to the crowds during the light parade, he seemed unperturbed by the presence of the green guy - perhaps because he'd already been apprehended by the Crook County Sheriff's Department before he could steal any Christmas. Gerald E. Bunney, 83, of Aladdin, Wyoming, passed away December 1, 2022 at the Department of Veterans Hospital, Ft. Meade, South Dakota.Gerald was the youngest of five children, all boys, born to John and Loretta Bunney on May 31, 1939 in Spearfish, South Dakota. Josh was born November 2, 1959, outside of Pierre, South Dakota, to GW and Patricia (Poseley) Britton. In the mid-1960s the family moved to Whitewood, South Dakota. Michael Rodriguez of California was arrested late last month on possession charges when the vehicle he was traveling in was pulled over for speeding. On November 24, a Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper observed a vehicle traveling 1-90 near milepost 202 faster than the posted 80 mph speed limit. Radar showed the vehicle’s speed to be 96 mph. Campbell County hospitalizations for RSV on the rise GILLETTE (WNE) — Respiratory Syncytial Virus, or RSV, cases at Campbell County Health rose in the last two months, keeping with recent trends seen throughout the United States. Typically, the virus starts to make an appearance in January or spring, but this year, cases have shown up earlier, said Sherry Bailey, director of acute care at the hospital.
