The Freeze Your Fanny Virtual Fun run/walk registration is now open. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year’s four-mile run and walk will be held virtually. Participants can complete the race on their own time, but the goal is to complete Freeze Your Fanny by Super Bowl Sunday on February 7. The registration cost includes a long-sleeve t-shirt. Crook County Senior Services (CCSS) has taken delivery of a new four-wheel drive SUV that will allow easier access to seniors who live in less accessible parts of the county. FaithHoney Anderson of Devils Tower was one of 478 youth across the nation to receive the Congressional Award Gold Medal in 2020. To earn this award, she completed over 400 volunteer public service hours, over 200 hours for personal development, over 200 hours of physical fitness and planned a five-day expedition. The health orders affecting Wyomingites have been eased again this week to reflect an improvement in the COVID-19 situation since they were tightened in early December. The new orders increase the number of people who may attend indoor and outdoor gatherings. Sundance resident Chauncey Jenerou faces a child abuse charge after an alleged altercation with a juvenile in mid-December. On December 18, a Sheriff’s Office Deputy was asked to investigate reports of a juvenile who claimed Jenerou had physically assaulted them. A North Dakota man faces possession charges after he was pulled over for speeding on the highway and marijuana products were found in his vehicle.
