This class of 20 students recently completed the Wyoming Game & Fish Department Hunter Education Class held in Sundance. This class involves about 17 hours of class instruction, marksmanship, gun handling and the passing of a written test. Crook County Special Olympics traveled to Casper on October 9 and 10 for their State Games. The fall tournament included 900 athletes, coaches and volunteers. On September 5 and 7 the Crook County Natural Resource District (CCNRD) once again held an Electronics Recycling (E-Cycling) Event in Hulett and Sundance. As a service to Crook County residents, the CCNRD was able to collect each participant’s first 100 pounds of electronic waste for free and charge a lesser rate for amounts over 100 pounds, thanks to financial support from the Crook County Commissioners, the City of Sundance and the City of Hulett.
