  • Open house/potluck dinner

    The Carlile Fire Hall is hosting its 13th annual open house/potluck dinner on Sat., Sept. 19, at 6 p.m. Pinnacle Bank will provide grilled burgers and brats, dinnerware and drinks will be provided by members of Fire Zone #16 and music by is Bob, Pat and Doug along with Doug Ren. Guests are asked to bring a covered dish and join the fun. Come visit neighbors and enjoy the evening....

    Thank You Thank you to Dr. Waddell and all the staff at the Crook County Hospital for the wonderful care I was given. I was there two weeks doing rehab after back surgery in Rapid City. The girls from Bearlodge Physical Therapy did a great job helping me get ready to come home. The care was wonderful and the food was so great. Thanks again to all the staff there.     1 Years Ago Sep. 16, 1920 Swan Thompson’s concrete workers have made splendid headway during the past week. Three crosswalks have been completed for the city and the arch bridge near the flour mill is well toward completion. This bridge is an expensive affair at this time of high prices, but it is compensation to know that it is a permanent structure and will stand for all time.     The library doors are open. We will still be doing curbside delivery if you would prefer not to come into the library. We do ask that you wear a mask to enter the library. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided. Children under 13 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Two computers are available for adults. Teen and Children’s computers are not available. The Friends of the Library group is now accepting book donations for their fall book sale. They do not accept textbooks or encyclopedias, or books that are not in good condition. Library P...

    Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 104 since yesterday and now stand at 3866. Probable cases have increased by 24 to 700. Natrona County alone reported 23 new confirmed cases, while Albany County reported 15, Sheridan reported 13 and Converse reported 12.
