    The Upton-Sundance Patriots faced off against the Newcastle Dogies in the first home game of the season. A stiff defense helped the Patriots walk away with a 28-6 victory.     The Sundance Lady Bulldogs were back on the court this weekend taking part in the Big Horn Tournament. The Lady Bulldogs fared well over the weekend, adding wins to their column against Burlington and Pine Bluffs, but fell a few points short against Kaycee and conference rival Wright.     The Sundance golf team participated in the Kendrick Invite in Sheridan this past weekend. Sheridan Schubarth took first place for the Bulldogs at the invite with a score of 91 followed closely by teammate Allison Crawford, who finished third with a score of 98. The ladies finished second as a team, behind the Tongue River Eagles by one stroke.     In a letter filed this morning with the county, Governor Mark Gordon has suspended Mary Kuhl from her position as Crook County Treasurer. The governor states in his order for temporary suspension that he was asked by the Crook County Commission to direct the Attorney General to commence and prosecute an action to remove Kuhl from her position, due to allegations that she committed misconduct or malfeasance in office.
