    WYO HELP is calling for renters in Crook County who experienced financial hardship during the pandemic to make use of the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP). The program was created to help those who have been struggling to make rent, utility and internet payments due to COVID-19. ERAP is a new federal program that has distributed $25 billion throughout the nation for households unable to pay rent and utilities due to the pandemic.     Worland residents line up to watch the procession bringing the remains of 1st Lt. Alva Ray Krogman to his hometown of Worland on Monday. Krogman, a member of the U.S. Air Force, was lost over Laos in 1967 and his remains were recently returned to the United States. After being flown to Billings, Montana, on Monday, the remains were brought to Worland by the Wyoming Patriot Guard Riders and escorted by law enforcement officers from each community they passed through.     Cynthia Gail Schlau, 62, of Sundance, Wyoming, passed away on Thursday July 15, 2021, at the Crook County Memorial Hospital in Sundance. The Schlau family is celebrating the life of Gail, who was known to most people as “Gator”. She was born a daughter of Robert and Ann (Belk) Morgan on June 6, 1959, in Covington, Tennessee.     Bruce Dean Daane passed away at the age of 58 July 8, 2021 in Sundance, Wyoming. Bruce was a very talented mechanic tech who leaves behind his father, Al Daane; his mother, Shirley Leas; stepfather, Craig Leas; his sister Tammy (and Ron) Burtz; his stepbrother, Mark (and Valarie) Taylor; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; and last, but not least, his beloved kitty Shadow who he adored.     Michael William Duvall was born on February 6 right in the middle of the great blizzard of 1949 in Torrington, Wyoming, to Dillard and Freda (Richardson) Duvall. Mike was their first son. He grew up and attended school in Sundance, Wyoming. After a short time in Lingle and then Riverton, Wyoming, he moved to Jackson, Wyoming, where he remained until he passed away on July 11, 2021.     County Treasurer Mary Kuhl was arrested on Friday afternoon on a felony charge of unauthorized use of monies, a felony punishable by up to two years' imprisonment, a $5000 fine or both. Kuhl has also been charged with three misdemeanors: official misconduct and two counts of issuing false certificate.
