    RIVERTON — An exchange of gunfire Friday afternoon during a traffic stop left the driver of the stopped vehicle mortally shot and a Highway Patrol trooper wounded.     Sherry Negaard has been selected to play in the Wyoming Coaches Foundation North/South All Star Games volleyball game on July 24 for the North team. She has also been selected as All Conference and All State for 2020 and was the Northeast Player of the Year for 2020. Negaard was on the varsity roster for all four years of high school and took part in three state championships alongside her team.     Annika Haugen and John Wacker, art students of Tobi Miller at Sundance Junior High, received state awards recently in the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Poppy Poster Contest.     The College and Career Readiness Center of Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) celebrated the 2020-2021 HiSET high school equivalency graduation for five Crook County residents on June 24.
