The Sundance Chamber of Commerce has confirmed that its summer movie night series will be taking place on Tuesday nights. The first is scheduled for June 14 and the movies will run weekly until August 9. If weather causes a movie to be cancelled, August 16 may be used as a back-up date. Homeowners are invited to take advantage of a new program that was signed into law this weekend to offer relief on property taxes for anyone whose income and assets fall below a specific limit. Crook County first graders from Hulett, Moorcroft and Sundance made their annual trek, after a two-year break, to Devils Tower National Monument for the 17th annual Wyoming Reads celebration in Crook County. Brian Alan Dirks took the road to heaven May 19, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. He died peacefully, with his wife at his side, under the kind and compassionate care given in the ICU at Sanford Hospital. A Moorcroft man will serve up to ten years for aggravated assault and battery after allegedly ramming a woman’s truck into a power pole. On April 17, 2020, a Moorcroft Police Officer was dispatched for a domestic violence call and advised that a couple was fighting in their yard.
