    The 2023 track season came to a close this past weekend as the Sundance Bulldogs competed in the 2A State Track and Field Meet in Casper. Junior Keaton Mills won the high jump competition with a jump of 6-02. The Bulldog relay teams both fared well with a third place finish; the girls 1600 sprint medley, composed of Blakely Gill, Jaylin Mills, Karly Marchant and Zoe Skeens finished with a time of 4:41.23.     Nine local students received their Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) College and Career Readiness Center (CCRC) HiSET diplomas in Sundance on May 22. HiSET is a high school equivalency program that includes studies and testing in language arts, reading and writing, math, social studies and science. The HiSET credential is accepted by all institutions of higher learning, the military and by employers. The HiSET program is free of charge for anyone 16 or older.     Molly Ryan of Aladdin was among 234 graduates to receive bachelor’s degrees at Northwestern College during commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 13.     The annual kids’ fishing derby sponsored by the Sundance Rod and Gun Club is scheduled for Sat., June 3, at Sundance Pond at the Fairgrounds with registration starting at noon.
