    Man who tried to run over deputy gets up to 15 years in prison GILLETTE (WNE) — A Moorcroft man who was found guilty of trying to run into a sheriff’s deputy while fleeing from law enforcement in the spring of 2020 will serve up to 15 years in prison. Last week, Nathan Schuerman, 42, was sentenced to 13.5 to 15 years for aggravated assault and possession of a deadly weapon.     The Sundance Lady Bulldogs finished their basketball season with a fourth-place finish in the 2A State Tournament this past weekend. Going into the tournament the number two seed from the east, the Lady Bulldogs opened play against the number three seed from the west, the Riverside Rebels. It was a low scoring game in the opening round as the Bulldogs put up seven points to the Rebels' 14 in the first half of play.     The Muley Fanatic Foundation welcomed almost 200 people to its live banquet this year, raising thousands of dollars for the local chapter of the organization. The proceeds will be used for the Muleys’ goals to support wildlife and habitat in this area. Of the $38,359.49 raised once all bills had been paid, the local chapter will receive $26,851.64, which represents 70% of the total.   • Bearlodge isolated parcels hazardous fuels reduction project

    The Black Hills National Forest is proposing to reduce fire hazard on isolated National Forest parcels adjacent to the western edge of the Bear Lodge Mountains. High fuel loading on these parcels poses a risk to surrounding lands and communities. The proposed area consists of ten scattered blocks of land.
