    Sundance vs. Southeast The Sundance girls’ basketball season came to a close this past weekend as the Lady Bulldogs fell to the Southeast Cyclones and the Wright Panthers, ending their hopes of a repeat state tournament appearance.     The Sundance boys’ basketball team travelled to Gillette to face three tough teams in hopes of a state tournament bid. Game one left the Bulldogs with the bitter taste of defeat. Facing off against the #2 team from the Southeast, the Glenrock Herders, the Bulldogs came ready to play. In an intense first half, the Bulldogs found themselves down by two at the break, 26-24.     Children are placed in foster care when a child protective services worker and court have determined it is not safe for them to remain home. 60 percent of children placed in the system are there because of neglect. Displacement from their family and disruption of their usual routine and familiar surroundings is traumatizing for many children.
