  • FCCLA members lookign for fabric donations

    For Sundance FCCLA members to complete one of their chapter service projects, they are in need of fabric. The group is buying standard bed pillows for the residents of the nursing home and are going to cover them with pillow cases that members and Textile students sew.     Crook County Farm Bureau will be offering three scholarships this year. First place is $1500; second place is $1300; third place is $800. These will be awarded to assist deserving students to continue their education.     Northwest College has named 435 students to its fall semester honor rolls. The list of students represents 33 communities in Wyoming and 18 in Montana, as well as 13 states and 11 countries. Sundance’s Lane Gill appears on the Vice-President’s Honor Roll.   • BHSU Dean's List

    Black Hills State University released the Dean’s List for the fall 2021 semester. A total of 684 students maintained a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credit hours. Crook County students on the list are: Rebecca Wolfe and Kaylei Petz of Moorcroft; Hope Marchant, Ariana Cudney and Lauryn Holt of Sundance.     Lady Bulldogs The parking lot was full at Sundance High School on Thursday night as the Lady Bulldogs hosted county rival Moorcroft Lady Wolves. The Lady Wolves came into the matchup ranked number two and toting a 9-3 overall record. The tension in the gym was high as the teams took to the floor. Both sides got their jitters out on their first possession with a turnover. As the quarter wore on, the turnovers continued to plague the Lady Bulldogs, who struggled to break Moorcroft's aggressive...
