Roger Taylor Bush died on December 17, 2019, at West Park Hospital in Cody, Wyoming. He was born on January 29, 1931 to Bill and Alberta Bush near Hulett, Wyoming. In 1867, while on his way to California with other settlers, great-grandfather Jeremiah Bush took a detour through the Black Hills, and he liked what he saw. In 1878 he moved there with his growing family. Roger joined the U.S. Army in 1951, when Uncle Sam made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. LARAMIE — Albany County circuit court Judge Robert Castor should make a ruling on the legality of the University of Wyoming’s gun ban, Albany County Attorney Peggy Trent said in a Friday court filing. Wyoming’s flu season begins JACKSON (WNE) — It’s flu season in Wyoming, but public health officials aren’t ready to make a determination about its severity. “This is probably too early for us to put a real characterization on this season,” Wyoming Department of Health spokeswoman Kim Deti said. During the month of December, the Pantry served 261 people. This included 14 new clients, 104 under the age of 18 and 51 over the age of 60. Items needed this month include macaroni and cheese, canned tuna and canned chicken. Once again, seasoned and brand new handbell ringers will have an opportunity to join other ringers from around the area in a music sight-reading event called Super Bell Saturday (the day before Super Bowl Sunday) in Sundance on Feb. 1 from 9 a.m. to noon.
