    The Sundance Bulldogs traveled to Wright to partake in the Panther Twilight Track Meet on Tuesday of last week. This was a smaller meet, with only five teams from the surrounding area participating. The Bulldog athletes took advantage of the smaller size and many were able to place in their events.     The Sundance Bulldog track team took advantage of the nice weather and participated in the Mick Tonkel Fly High Classic in Upton last Friday. The girls’ team dominated the 400 meter run with four Bulldogs placing in the top five. Maddison Neiman took top honors with a time of 1:05.02, teammate Halyn Cooney was right on her tail finishing in second with a time of 1:05.72.     The Sundance track team crossed state lines last week as they competed in the Queen City Classic in Spearfish on Friday. The Queen City Classic is a meet that attracts many schools and the Bulldogs were up against some stiff competition.     The Sundance track team was on the road to Buffalo last week as they competed in the Jerry Campbell Invitational on Friday. It was a great meet for the Bulldog track and field team as multiple athletes placed in the top seven of their events.     Track season is underway for the Sundance Bulldogs. The team was able to catch an early meet last week as they participated in the Laura Chord Invitational in Newcastle on Thursday. Being one of the first meets of the season, there were a total of 15 teams participating. Despite the large number of participants, the Bulldogs were able to see success in multiple events.     Tel Marchant, Lyman Halverson, Karter Mayberry, Wyatt Flahaven and Shyla Shoun all competed at the 2A State Wrestling Tournament this past weekend for the Sundance Bulldogs. It was a double elimination tournament where Mayberry and Halverson went three rounds but unfortunately fell short in the end.
